The continuous studies and innovation bring the company to have unique and patented machines.

He was only 23 years old, at the end of ’50, when Mr. Cesare Colosio started his activity in the father’s old house.
At the beginning he uses to transform old second hand machines giving them a second life, and after few years going on with the invention of his own new machinery; especially with the machine’s patent focused on the production of the famous argyle socks Burlington style.
He started a new era and a worldwide fashion, that since then distinguished Colosio Company all over the world.
After this first market entrance, Colosio specialized himself drawing and producing single cylinder machines that changed the company from home-made dimension to a leader company operating in the international market.

In the 1985 another big step was made in the Colosio evolution: Magica, the first full electronic machine in the market for the production of socks.
Later on, in the beginning of ’90, another model called Regina entered the market, it was even more automated than the previous, thanks to the introduction of the mono-magnet selection system and to the remote control “via modem” for the tele-monitoring and assistance at distance
The last born in Colosio is the toe close system A-LINK, patented and fully realized inside the company, with a robot on the machine side that closes the socks and directly sends them to the finishing department.
